travel planning
I've always had the travel spirit in me...
But at the time I decided to go down the family path and I don't regret it at all. Now my children are at an age where I can put myself first and I do that too. Because a happy mom is a good mom.
And that's why I'm starting to plan my trips for myself and to create little Nicci islands where I can recharge my batteries and break out my travel fever. And I'm really looking forward to it.

In March 2020 I was taken on a magical journey. For the first time in my life I traveled to Thailand.
I was shown the absolutely amazing island of Koh Phangan. I immediately fell in love with the beautiful nature, the dreamy beaches, the crystal blue sea, the friendly people, the good food, the warm weather and the picturesque sunsets, but most of all the timelessness that one got on the island.. Just take the day as it comes and enjoy every day.

Actually, I wanted to take a break for 3 months in March 2021. For me all alone... Unfortunately, it didn't work out in the short term. It was difficult in terms of staff in the business, but it would also not necessarily be an optimal travel time in terms of corona, as you would have to accept enormous restrictions. There will be a reason why I can't start my journey. Now I have postponed the start of my trip to January 29th, 2022. Of course I hope now that everything will be easier by then...

I've sort of put together my itinerary. I would like to do the Mae Hong Son Loop, be alone with the "motorcycle" 5 days in the north of Thailand. Then do a Vipassana at Wat Umong, a silent retreat. Certainly on my list is of course Koh Phangan, where I want to spend most of my time off. But I would also like to travel to Koh Tao to do the "Open Water Diving License" there. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Lanta, Krabi, maybe Koh Samui could also be added... I'm open to so many things and would like to be spontaneously inspired.
